-TRAINED FOR LOVE

Client: With 22 rehoming centres across the UK, Dogs Trust care for over 15,000 stray and abandoned dogs each year. And, they will never put a healthy dog down.

Brief: Boost footfall to Dog’s Trust’s network of rehoming centres, giving thousands of stray and abandoned dogs a second chance at a loving, happy life.

Campaign: Using the iconic Rocky theme tune, we created a warm and humorous TV spot, showing Dogs Trust dogs in training for the love of their new owners. By keeping our ad fun and upbeat, it gives people chance to get excited about the prospect of a new friend (instead of getting bogged down in feeling sad, as sometimes happens with charity ads) and gives a nod to the extensive training that Dog’s Trust give their canine residents.
